Matt focuses his practice on civil litigation, business law, government relations, election law, and real estate. He has appeared in front of the City of Milwaukee Election Commission and State Elections Board challenging the recall of a City of Milwaukee Alderman, worked with WHEDA on behalf of real estate developers to obtain tax credits for the rehabilitation of multi-family housing, rendered local counsel opinions on the behalf of both local and national developers for the use of tax credits, and has participated in various kinds of litigation including real estate ownership disputes and breach of contract actions.
 Matt was born and raised in the Milwaukee area. He attended Cardinal Stritch University and earned his Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in Business with a focus in Management Information Systems in 2003. He earned his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2006.

His outside interests include playing semi-professional baseball in the historic Land O’Lakes Baseball League for the Northshore Knights of the league’s Eastern Division.
 Matt is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and currently resides in Mequon, Wisconsin with his wife, Sarah, a fashion designer.
